Biking/Hiking Paths & Parks – Libertyville

Chicago Botanic Garden – Glencoe

Great Lakes Naval Museum – Great Lakes

The Great Lakes Naval Museum is a small military museum showing the history of Navy ‘boot camp’ training and of Naval Station Great Lakes. Open Fridays 1:00-4:00 pm, Sat./Sun. 7:00 am – 3:00 pm or by appointment. Due to changes in security procedures, individuals must be sponsored by a service member/dependent with an Armed Forces ID card. Free admission.
